HOUSE FROM A CHRISTMAS STORY Cleveland, Ohio In a
nationally publicized move, this attraction was sold in 2024. They changed the name of the house slightly
(from A Christmas Story House to House From A Christmas Story) and
commissioned new dies with the new name for the animated Ralphie
machine. The new
designs are: New logo Leg lamp Bunny ears
with Ralphie’s glasses Red Ryder
air rifle It dispenses
pennies supplied by the machine. Most of the time these are zinc pennies that
have been cleaned. Sometimes they are zinc pennies in horrible shape. And
sometimes you get a circulated copper penny. We have a

Zinc pennies can be pretty rough – expect them to be very circulated
and not shiny. We have not attempted
to clean any. $9.99 per
set. You will notice stains and flaws. Set OH67cp
– We made special arrangements to open up the machine and roll a limited
number of sets on our cleaned and polished COPPER pennies for $17.99
per set without the new collector’s book.
There is no assurance we will ever be able to roll our own coppers at
this location, so get them before they sell out! Being a harder metal, the coppers roll

HOUSE FROM A CHRISTMAS STORY Cleveland, Ohio NEW SECOND MACHINE – 2025
This machine
was installed just days after our visit in June 2025. It’s a hand-crank machine that takes your
quarters and pennies, and we rolled these on cleaned & polished U.S.
copper cents. Two designs
appear to be the same as two designs in the automated “Ralphie” machine. We are still studying them to determine if
they are truly identical. Those two
designs are the House logo and the famous leg lamp. The other two designs in this machine are
Bumpus House and a pig with “how the piggy’s eat” (yes, they misspell it as
piggy’s instead of piggies). All coins

CROSSROADS VILLAGE/ HUCKLEBERRY RAILROAD Flint, Michigan The county park is open
seasonally. This machine was purchased
and renovated by the legendary Ray Dillard, and he designed the coins. The “Friends of the Carousel” group owns
the machine and all proceeds support their effort to preserve and operate the
carousel and Parker Superior Wheel.
Ray even trained some of their members to switch out the dies
seasonally and maintain the machine.
All four coins have Ray’s initials.
This the only Michigan machine (and for all I know, any machine
nationally) that Ray set up for unassisted public coin-operated use. After Labor Day, the dies in
the machine are switched to Halloween and Christmas themes to coincide with
special seasonal events (mainly on weekends).
