DISNEY SPRINGS PIN TRADERS

50TH ANNIVERSARY REPLACEMENT DIE

 

One of the original 50th anniversary dies (WDW22017) developed a die crack late in 2022 or early in 2023.  The vendor made a new die with microscopic differences (mainly the size of the stars) in early 2023.  Because a new die was prepared, Presscoins gave the new item its own catalog number: WDW23001. 

 

At the time, Disney was transitioning to the 100 Years of Wonder celebration, so this replacement die was available only for a few weeks before it was replaced with a 100YOW design.

 

We do not have copies of the die with the crack (WDW22017-b).

 

However, we have a limited number of WDW23001, the replacement coin, rolled on zinc pennies supplied by the machine.

50th ANNIVERSARY ARCADE CARD

We were able to obtain a small number of arcade cards issued for the 50th anniversary celebration.  These are used; do not expect them to have any value still loaded on them.  The cards are the same size as credit cards.
